Job Duties:

Candidate must have prior experience in procuring concrete, steel, construction material within US.

Maintain and implement construction proforma / budget for each project as it relates to materials (steel, cement, concrete, and tower equipment). Negotiate pricing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

The scope for the procurement will include RFI, RFQ and contracting scope for civil works, site materials, radio network equipment, development of power and services related to installation, commissioning and optimization of Mobile Operators Equipment and Service.

Issue purchase orders for procurement and expedition of materials and equipment for jobs.
Ensure compliance to project budgets and provide analysis of deviations.
Research new materials for design and cost savings.
Maintain subcontractor and supplier insurance policies.
Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
Establish new relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of work.
Assist in maintaining company quality control program.
Assist in settling invoice or contract disputes. Forecast upcoming demand.
Manage materials/equipment inventory.

Requirements:

College degree.
10 years related experience in the infrastructure industry as a procurement professional with proven negotiation skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills. Energetic and resourceful team player with ability to work in a “start-up” environment.
Prior experience dealing with multiple vendors and suppliers in procuring steel and cement ( specifically) is mandatory.
