The ideal candidate we are seeking is proactive, driven, resourceful, possesses strong prioritization skills, and a desire to dive into the data. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Tower Portfolio, and your contributions will be pivotal to team’s collaborative efforts with other departments within the organization.

 

Job Description

This role is responsible for project leadership across all designated projects with a focus on project schedule which includes coordinating all deliverables and requirements across a broad cross-functional project team. Verify all projects are completed according to the underlying customer contract and agreed upon timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects from inception to completion.

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.

  • Ensure all assets meet safety, compliance, and asset integrity standards through implementation.

  • Efficiently manages assigned projects to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

  • Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.

  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.

  • Ensure management and internal/external customers are aware of issues that will impact project completion.

  • Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.

  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources.

  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.

  • Manage project scope and changes.

  • Lead customer deployment meetings to provide customers with comprehensive job status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.

  • Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate documents are distributed in a timely manner in accordance with customer standards.

  • Ensure all documentation related to approvals, modifications, collocations and construction of towers (e.g., structural analysis, lease, title, applicable permits, regulatory approvals or others as required) are maintained.

  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues.

  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members.

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

  • Effectively engage with customers and vendors to manage projects, ensuring timelines and safety standards are met during the colo and NTP process.  

  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and deliverables.

  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.

  • Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.

  • 5 years’ experience in the wireless industry in site acquisition and/or construction project management.

  • Prior managerial experience preferred.

  • Solid follow up skills to assure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner and goals are met.

  • Strong project management skills with a solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

  • Well organized, with strong attention to detail

  • Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
